Plan the month once, then fill in each week.
A monthly plan sets where each rep will be. Dexor lays out each week from it, and the weekly plan adds which doctors to see at every stop.
Plans
New planThe month sets the route.
A monthly tour plan lists the days, sessions and call points for the month, chosen area by area. When it is saved, Dexor lays out a weekly plan for every week it covers, carrying that week's stops across.
Those weeks show as "Not planned yet" in the rep's Plans tab until someone fills them in, so nobody mistakes a skeleton for a finished plan.
The week names the doctors.
The weekly plan starts from the monthly stops for that week, and the author adds which doctors to see at each one. The weekly plan is what the rep's Today screen runs from.
If your organisation requires approval, a weekly plan can only be created once its monthly plan has been approved.
Who writes the plan is your call.
Managers can write a plan for any rep in their own team from the console. Reps you allow to self-plan can write their own from the app, and the others see "Plans are prepared by your manager".
You also set how far up the line a plan is visible, so a plan is seen by the rep and the managers you choose, and nobody else.
Questions people ask.
Do we have to write weekly plans from scratch?
Can reps write their own plans?
Who can see a rep's plan?
Does the rep's phone pick up the weekly plan?

Plan approvals
Plans can wait for a manager's approval before they go live. Every decision is recorded with who made it, when and why.
