See who changed what, and when.

Changes to your data are recorded with the person, their role, the action and the record. Admins and compliance officers can read it; admins export it.

Audit trail
When to use this: to answer who changed what, and when. Every mutation to your account's data is recorded here with the actor, their role, and the record they touched. Reads are not recorded, so this shows changes only.

Your own record, readable by you.

The Audit trail lists every change in your account, newest first: when, who and their role, the action and the record it touched. You can filter what is loaded and keep loading further back.

Account admins and compliance officers can read it. A compliance officer signs in to the admin console and sees the audit trail and nothing else. Your account is taken from the login, never from the request, so no one can read another account's trail.

A change that cannot be recorded does not happen.

Changes are refused before anything is written if the audit record cannot be made. For actions like closing a period or saving settings, the change and its audit row are written together, so one never exists without the other.

The trail records changes, not reads, which keeps it focused and easy to read.

Export it for an auditor.

Export audit downloads the trail as a CSV with timestamp, actor, role, action and target, ready to hand to an auditor. Records are kept for seven years.

Questions people ask.

Can we see our own audit log?
Yes. Account admins and compliance officers read it in the admin console, and admins can export it as CSV.
Can a change exist without its audit record?
For actions such as closing a period or saving settings, the change and its audit row are written in one step, so one never exists without the other.
What if the audit system is down?
Dexor checks the audit channel before writing anything and refuses the change if it is unavailable.
Can a compliance officer change data?
A compliance officer reads the audit trail and reaches nothing else in the admin console.

Period close

Once a month is reported, close it. Sales, re-projection, target edits and orders for that month are kept out until someone reopens it with a reason.

Users and seats

Account admins add, suspend, reactivate and reset users in their own console, with live seat counts per role and no way to lock themselves out.
