Price the whole team in one run.
A run prices every earner a scheme covers, flags anyone the plan cannot pay, and becomes the record a period is settled against.
Provisional: 2026-10 still open, so these numbers can move.
| Earner | Payout | State |
|---|---|---|
| Tyler Morgan | 0 | Computed |
| Ashley Carter | 20,000 | Computed |
| Kevin Walsh | 20,000 | Computed |
| Megan Lopez | 32,000 | Computed |
| Brandon Hayes | 40,000 | Computed |
| Emily Nguyen | 0 | Needs attention |
Admins sign off the whole bill.
The question a compensation admin signs off is the total, so "Price the whole team" runs the scheme for everyone it covers. You get the number of earners priced, the total payout and a row per earner.
Runs work in the background, so a large roster does not time out a screen. When a run finishes you can take that period straight to settlement.
Nobody the plan cannot pay is hidden.
An earner the scheme cannot price is shown as "Needs attention", never left out of the table. If the eligibility rule selects nobody, the screen says that plainly instead of showing an empty total.
If any month in the period is still open, the run is marked provisional before any figure is shown, because the underlying numbers can still move.
Accrual runs on its own.
Every night Dexor re-prices each scheme for the open period as a liability estimate. It needs no one to press a button, it is replaced the next night, and it can never become the basis of a payment. Only a run computed in actual mode can be settled.
Questions people ask.
When does a run turn into pay?
What if someone cannot be paid by the scheme?
Does finance get an accrual figure?
Works well with.

Write an incentive scheme in plain terms, watch the payout curve as you edit, and try it on a real earner before anyone is told.

Freeze the numbers, record who approved them, publish to earners, then export the payroll file. Corrections are disclosed, never quietly edited.
