Moving a rep is a two-click job.

In Users and seats, Move opens a picker of managers. Choose one, press Move user, and the rep reports there from then on. An admin can also change a user's role, level, territory or name the same way.

A role change moves the seat with it: the old role's seat is freed and the new one is taken, and the user's app access follows the new role.

Moving a manager moves their whole team.

A user who manages others is moved by Dexor on your behalf, because every person below them needs a new reporting chain. Dexor works out the new chain for the manager and everyone under them and checks that each one still reaches a BU head before writing anything.

If any chain would break, or the move would put a manager under their own report, nothing is changed. The move is recorded on your audit trail.

Can our admin move a manager with a team under them?

Dexor moves managers for you. Every reporting chain beneath them is rewritten and checked, and nothing is written until every chain is valid.

What stops a move from breaking the hierarchy?

Every new chain is computed and validated before anything is written. A move that would leave someone without a path to a BU head, or create a loop, is refused.

Does history follow the person who moved?

Each move is recorded on the audit trail with who made it and when, so you can always see when someone changed managers.
