Unmatched rows never enter a territory rollup, so they are missing from every figure above.

The clean majority matches on its own.

Outlet names are normalised before matching: case, punctuation and extra spaces are ignored, so "A.B.C. Medicos" and "ABC Medicos" are the same outlet. A name that matches an outlet you have mapped to a territory is stamped with that territory as it is ingested.

SKU codes work the same way. "ABC-100", "abc 100" and "ABC100" all resolve to one product through the distributor's SKU crosswalk.

The rest are ranked, not guessed.

A name that does not match exactly is scored against the distributor's outlets on three signals: shared words in any order, character patterns that survive typos, and an edit-distance signal that catches "Madina" against "Medina". The candidates for each distinct name are ranked, best first.

Dexor never assigns a territory from a fuzzy score. Those names go to the match queue, because a sale attributed to the wrong territory is worse than one left unmatched.

You can see how complete the numbers are.

Each distributor page shows its outlet match rate, its mapped outlets and its SKU crosswalk rows. Unmatched rows never enter a territory rollup, so the match rate tells you how complete the figures above it can be.

Questions people ask.

Will Dexor attribute a sale to the wrong outlet on its own?
Dexor stamps a sale automatically on an exact match, after normalising case, punctuation and spacing. Every fuzzy match waits for a person in the match queue, so a guess never moves sales between territories.
What happens to sales that do not match?
They are kept, but they stay out of territory rollups until the outlet is resolved. The distributor page shows the match rate so the gap is visible.
Does it handle Urdu or other non-Latin names?
Normalisation keeps letters and digits from any script, so a non-Latin outlet name is matched rather than erased.

Restatement
