Alerts stay until someone dismisses them.
Alerts and team activity are stored per user, newest first, grouped by day. They are still there after a reload or on another device, until the person dismisses them one by one or clears them all.
Reach people where they are.
A manager can turn on desktop alerts in the browser, so an important alert arrives even when the tab is in the background. Anyone with a work email on file gets an email copy, and can switch that off from the Notifications screen while still seeing every alert in the inbox.
If no work email is on file, the screen says so and nothing is sent.
Questions people ask.
