Let product managers ask to see orders.

A product-line manager can request time-boxed access to orders outside their chain. The first sales-line manager above them decides, and every step is audited.

The approver is found by walking up the requester's chain to the first sales-line manager.

Requests and decisions run through the Dexor API, switched on per account.

Orders stay inside the sales chain.

An order is visible to the rep who booked it, the managers above them at the time of booking, and admins. Nobody in a sibling branch sees it, because orders carry prices, discounts and customer terms.

Product-line managers sit outside that chain. When they need to see how their products were ordered, they ask instead of being given a role that would show them every order in the company.

The right person decides.

A request names one order or a whole distributor and month, with a reason. Dexor routes it to the first sales-line manager above the requester, climbing past any product-line managers on the way. If nobody qualifies, the request is refused rather than granted.

Only that named approver can approve or reject, and only once.

Every grant expires.

An approval carries an expiry, 30 days by default and up to a year if the approver sets it. While it is live, the order detail opens for the requester; afterwards it closes again. Requests and decisions are both written to the audit trail.

Questions people ask.

What can a request cover?
One order, or every order from one distributor in one month. Each request carries a reason, and the access rule is enforced on every order read.
Who can raise a request?
Managers on the product line, once the account has switched cross-branch access on. Sales-line staff already see everything their chain allows.
How long does a grant last?
30 days by default, and up to a year if the approver sets it. Every approval has an expiry, so access closes again on its own.
