Check-ins with a selfie, a location and a time.

Reps check in at each planned call point with an arrival selfie, GPS and a timestamp. Retries never double-count, and gaps go to the manager.

Proof of arrival, captured at the door.

On arrival the rep taps "I'm here" and takes a selfie with the live camera. The check-in records the call point, the phone's location and the time, and is written together with an audit entry so the two can never disagree.

The check-in is saved on the phone first and sent when there is signal. The card shows Pending sync until the server has it, then Checked in.

Retries are safe.

The phone gives every check-in its own id, so a check-in that is sent twice is recognised and stored once. If a check-in fails, the card says so and offers a one-tap retry.

Gaps become tasks for the manager.

Two things are raised automatically. If the rep's identity selfie has not been verified yet, the selfie goes to their manager's photo verification queue. If the call point has no coordinates on record, the rep's location goes to the manager's location verification queue.

Check-ins are what tour plan adherence is scored against: a planned stop counts as met only if the rep checked in at that call point on that day.

Questions people ask.

Can a rep check in from a photo in their gallery?
Every check-in selfie comes from the live camera. The viewfinder opens on the spot with no gallery option, so an old picture cannot stand in for today's arrival.
What happens if a check-in is sent twice?
The server recognises the check-in by its id and keeps one record, so retries on a weak connection never double-count.
What does the manager see from a check-in?
Check-ins feed plan adherence. When a rep is not yet verified, or a call point has no coordinates, the manager gets an item in the matching verification queue.
Does checking in work without signal?
Yes. The check-in is saved on the phone first and sent when there is signal. The card shows Pending sync until the server has it, then Checked in.

Selfie verification

A rep's first arrival selfie goes to their manager to verify. Approving marks the rep verified and keeps the selfie in an archive for a year.

Call point GPS verification

When a rep checks in at a call point with no coordinates, their location goes to the manager. Approve it and the call point has a verified position.
