A projection from what has happened so far.

Dexor takes quarter-to-date sales against the monthly targets scaled to the quarter, adjusts for how much of the quarter has passed, and projects where attainment will land. Month-on-month change in attainment and coverage is worked out alongside it.

The projection appears as the Forecast tile on the dashboard, with its change since last month and the number of territories at risk, and it feeds Insights and Ask Dexor.

A flag needs a reason.

A low projection alone does not raise a flag. A territory is flagged only when something is also moving the wrong way: falling momentum, declining coverage, more no-show days or lower plan adherence than last month.

Flagged territories get an Insights card such as "East territory is at risk of missing quarter target", with the projected figure and each reason listed.

Nothing is made up.

When there is no basis for a figure, such as no snapshot for the month or no target, the forecast shows nothing rather than a guess. The tile then reads "No prior-period basis yet".

Questions people ask.

How is the forecast calculated?
Deterministically, from your own sales, targets and activity. It costs no AI credits and gives the same answer every time for the same data.
Why is a territory at 70% not flagged?
Because nothing else is going wrong there. A flag needs falling momentum or a leading signal such as declining coverage or more no-show days.
Where do I see it?
On the dashboard's Forecast tile, as risk cards in Insights, and in Ask Dexor answers that use the forecast outlook.
